Call for entries: VIDEOEX

Videoex is Switzerland’s largest festival dedicated to experimental film and video. Over the course of nine days, Videoex shows films and videos beyond conventional narrative cinema: experimental, visually surprising, conceptually unexpected or controversially political films and videos on the threshold between visual art and film.

We are looking for experimental, innovative and progressive works that explore the possibilities of film as a medium, expanding the idea of film and cinema. We admit: Experimental Film, Non-Fiction, Moving Image, Documentary, Essay Film, Animated Film, Music Videos. Works on 8mm, 16mm or 35mm celluloid will be screened in original format. Works must have been completed since Oct. 2016. No entry fee!
