Wild Papers
Unpredictable as the Future

Online publishing series edited by Ingo Niermann and commissioned by the Institute Art Gender Nature HGK Basel FHNW. Wild Papers constitutes a collection of concise scenarios that affect the future of art, technology, gender, and nature.

Our video archive includes video material from past master symposia, such as Gender of the Forests (2023) and Songs to Sound Worlds, Stories to Rewrite Them: On Gender, Storytelling, and Myth (2022). The video archive is continually updated.

Our Exhibitions

Art production and exhibition plays an important role in the activity of the lecturers, students and alumni of the Institute Art Gender Nature. Not only do we present special commissions from international artists and alumni at der TANK — our exhibition space on the Campus of the Arts —, we also produce numerous shows and projects involving people related to the Institute Art Gender Nature in other places in Switzerland and abroad. This section of our website provides an overview of current and past projects.
