Onome Ekeh is a writer and designer of Speculative Fictions. Born and raised on both sides of the Atlantic, she started out as a painter, gravitated towards design, and then fell in love with cinema. Somewhere in the collision she went digital, and discovered alliances with AI.

Onome Ekeh has produced works spanning film, video, theater, literature, and radio, and is the recipient of several fellowships including the Jerome Foundation, Greenwall Foundation, Turbulence Media Award, and a Künstlerhaus Büchsenhausen Fellowship.

As a dramaturg projects include Grisha Coleman’s Echo::System; Venus by David Thomson; Bronx Gothic by Okwui Okpokwasili; Annie Dorsen’s The Great Outdoors—as well as collaborations with artists such as Carl Hancock Rux, Knut Asdam, Aleksandra Mir, Johan Grimonprez, Clarinda Mac Low, and legendary New York downtown theater company, Mabou Mines. As a writer, editorial and creative consultant, her clients have included the Swiss Mission to the United Nations, The Extremely Hungary Festival, Pen World Voices Festival, The Brooklyn Academy of Music, and currently ETH Zurich.
