Atmospheric Forest VR at The Klima Biennale Wien

As part of the Klima Biennale Wien, Kunst Haus Wien presents an extensive group exhibition on one of the most important ecosystems in the world – the forest. 16 contemporary artistic positions are dedicated to the forest habitat, its ecological processes, and threats, including Atmospheric Forest (2020), the VR experience by Rasa Smite and Raitis Smits. This immersive artwork visualizing the complex relations between the emitting forest and the atmosphere, is an outcome of SNSF-funded research project „Ecodata-Ecomedia-Ecoaesthetics“ (2017-2021).
