Naomi Hennig and Julia Mensch’s bilingual, multimedia lecture-performance ESE AJENO SUR uses Goethe’s polymath Dr. Faust as a fixed point for feminist and decolonial re-perspectivisations and commemorations of the deadly consequences of land grabbing in Patagonia, Argentina. In their essayistic memoir, they reflect on activism, the modern myths of capitalist expansionist logic, and the continuities of racist language and practice.
